Hi, i just posted a message about the problems ive had bringing up my betta babies. i just found a growth chart at http://www.waynesthisandthat.com/bettagrowth.html

My 2 month old babies have developed of the stage of their 2-3 week old babies!!
i know my babies are tiny, but looking at that growth chart my babies look exactly the size and development of their 2-3 week old.
the photos in this graph is a HUGE difference!. what has happened, and how do i fix it.????
PLEASE HELP

 they have DEFINITELY been stunted, i dont' think that spawn is going to go very well :/ you could try giving your babies some live bbs...i don't know if the effects are even reversible as htis stage. i sugguest you try some live bbs, crushed frozen bloodowrms, etc and stop feeding them the flakes.

It could be what you're feeding them, if you aren't feeding them live foods then that could slow down their growth and then water changes is the other thing, fry need EXCELLENT water quality, I try to do daily vacuuming and water changes after they're a week old. I also feed them Vinegar eels, Microworms & BBS until they're big enough to start eating frozen adult BS, and cut up live Blackworms. My growth is pretty close (although a tad less) than that growth chart shows, maybe my biggest couple follow that chart.
