I am reluctantly putting my channa up for sale. Sorry Nelly
In order for me to start up my marine tank, I need to reduce my coldwater tanks from 6 to 2 & unfortunately these guys will have to go to a new home.
Sorry, but I will not post these, you will need to be able to collect & bring a good size container with lid to transport them in.
Edited to add that I can maybe arrange for delivery within about 40miles, but I will have to ask for fuel costs to be covered
They are really easy fish to care for & full of character. They are around 5" although a couple are a little bit smaller, they should max out around 20cm
Tank requirements: they are a sub-tropical species, I keep them without a heater, the temp tends to sit around 20. I have been keeping them in their group in a 54" tank, but they will be ok in anything from 3ft upwards.
There is an occassional bit of aggression, but nothing major & the nips heal very fast, they are kept in a group in the hope of a breeding pair forming. We think we have at least one pair, but I cannot guarantee it.
They feed well on chopped prawn, live foods, dried mealworms etc
I would much rather they went to a new home as a group, but will consider people taking just one or two.
please ask any questions you have & feel free to make me an offer, I'm more interested in them having a good home, than the money I sell them for to be honest.
