Silver upset sharks

I have had to move back to my parents house and scince moving my tank I have lost 2 guppys, 1 clown loach and the heater. My sharks have been swiming up and down, against the side of the tank for 3 days now. They did it before when I moved them from my old 96 but only did it for a day. I can only presume that they are stressed and upset. Is I can do to try and calm them?
Do you think they will "come around"?

Maybe try some hiding places, or leave the light off for them awhile - may reduce their stress,

I have just tested the water, all the readings are low but the ph is at 8 - 8.5, should i be worried about it because ive been told not to mess with ph???
