Silver Tip Tetras

i just bought the last of my fish completeing my tank (hurray!!) and i only got two silver tip tetras. i know th tetras like being kept in groups not pairs but they like to swim with my glowlights.

Dunno whether having just two would be a problem exactly but they do look great in a bigger group. Hubbie and I started out with seven four years ago, we had two left after a bacterial infection wiped out half our fishes. But they didn't seem as active and were hiding in the plants most of the time, so we got three more and now they are all just as lively again, chasing each other round the tank and stiring up all our other fish! And they get a really shiny red-gold colour when they're 'courting' and look lovely swimming around showing off to each other. Some of your other tetras would probably feel safer in bigger groups too and come out more so you'd see them more often. You've got some nice-looking fish there though, I bet your tank looks great

Hi, i have 3 and they seem to all get along great withthe other fish. Apart from wanting to chase everything when they have their "mad half hour"including the silver sharks!!! they are very active.
