Silver Shark Growth

just been given two small silver sharks and wondering how long they take to grow???

I've heard they grow fast. They usually get to about 12" but there have been some up to 18"

They grow fast up to about 7 or 8" in the first year, and begin to really "fatten up through the next few years. They will continue to grow in length as well, but not near as fast as the first year. They can end up in the mid-teens if the tank is big enough and it's got the genes for it
