Hey all, well after finally tracking down replacement bulbs for the aquacube, it turns out the light unit is broken (wires melted through, eek!).

I've removed the light head, and replace with an old arcadia arcpod (the first run that came out), looks good, and provides much better light even with an old tube. However, the silver paint that covers the back etc. has all started to 'flake off', has anyone else had this happen? I think I'll respray it with some chrome car paint when I get chance...

White paint will be just as affective, even white paper would do it, I experienced the same.

Just to add,

I contacted Arcadia just to notify them of the problem, and they ahve very kindly offered to send me a replacement clam and reflector :)
