Hi All
I have 6 very large Silver Dollars (6" round), the largest of which i noticed this morning has a patch of white (approx half an inch round) on his side. His behaviour hasnt changed and there are no signs of sickness on any of the other 5 Silvers. I have 4 Angels in with them who are also very healthy. Could this be an individual problem with one fish or could this be the start of something..Its not white spot before anyone asks as its quite a large patch of "dry" looking skin.

All help appreciated.

Tanks Details:
240 litre

6 X SILVER DOLLARS
4 X ANGELS
1 X CATFISH

No live plants!

My sds get that quite often.. Not exactly sure if it's from being bitten or what, but it has always gone away within a few days for me at least.

When I see it, I try to keep the water clean to prevent any infections.

i have noticed this too at times, i assumed it was where they have got a bash in tank collisions.
