How bigs the tank? Also I dont know of any plants they wont eat :(

I've heard of a plant that tastes nasty so the fish don't eat it.. I don't remember what it's called, but it was quite expensive for a plant..

I currently have 8 silver dollars.. I love em.

That would be Java fern, Microsorium pteropus. Yes, it tends to be expensive, but it is also very good value. The "mother plants" sold attached to pieces of lava rock or bogwood are the best. The require moderate lighting, no substrate, and will adapt to any water conditions from soft/acid through to brackish. Most fish won't eat it, though scats are said to, and Panaque catfish (and perhaps other large suckermouths) can dislodge it while eating the wood.

Java fern is perhaps the single best plant for any aquarist who has had no luck with plants but really wants some. The downside is it grows slowly, so you may as well buy as much as you want in the tank now, and just prune back any excess.

Cheers,

Neale
