Silver Dollars

I'm starting a new tank and I would really like it to be planted. If i keep a couple silver dollars in like a 55 gallon planted tank will they destroy all the plants?

Yes.

If you feed copious quantities of veggie food, you will slow the process down, but SD's will eat plants, it is what they do.

What do you mean "like" a 55 gallon. Is it a 55 or not?

they will destroy a planted tank like a couple bull dozers in a rainforest...i have personal experience with them! I think SD's are awesome fish but with plants no way!
