Hi There
Thought i would share my experience i havd with my 4" round silver dollar. Basically woke up one morning to see it swimming upside down and round and round up and down the tank and also bent on half. Everything i read on the problem suggested it was a swim bladder problem and so i began to look for solutions.
I read about feeding frozen peas to the fish so i thawed a few out popped them in and the fish (after about 6 tries) managed to eat one 1 day went by and he started to swim better. By the 2nd day the poor fish was back to normal
And so whether or not the frozen pea trick works something seemed to have helped him.
The worst thing is having your fish go ill with something and only be able to watch it suffer or pop it before you get a chance to fix the problem.
Anyway thanks all
