Hi All

I have 3 Silver dollar in a 4foot tank, and looking to add guppies and tetra to the tank. are they compatible or should i stick to bigger size fish?

thanx

Silver dollars are gorgeous and mine were fine even with fry in the tank, they do best in groups of 6+ as they are very skittish fish.

I ended up moving my group on because IMO my 6ft tank was too small for them but others have kept them in smaller tanks.

Depending on theyre size tetras and guppys are a possibility.

They are beautiful, I inherited them from an old lady that was sick of her tank, they are about 3 years old more or less 12cm in length, they seam quiet relaxed alone, i will thrown in a few guppies and hope for the best

thank you for your response, will maybe update in a few days

thank you all, i added 6 platty and it seams fine, i think with time they will get used to each other, at the moment the tank seams split in half on the right side silver dollars and the other plattys. they meet every now and then but very nervous
