Due to time restraints and change in finances, we can no longer afford the upgrade to house our arowana or the time to care for him properly as needed.
So very unfortunately we are looking to sell him.
Price is negotiable, but we would like information on the type of home he is going to and obviously that it can cater for his growth/size.
He is an excellent feeder, prawns and chicken being favorites and will try chomping up flakes if not distracted.
He is always hungry. This includes fingers, but if your whole hand is in the tank and you make him aware its you, he leaves you alone or will come brush against you so can be quite friendly.
He is not people shy, as he has been housed in our bedroom for his whole life he is used to human interaction/presence.
He is approximately 12 inches long.
He has droop eye unfortunately because of looking down at us in the tank he is currently in. (see pictures)
He has slight damage to scales in the middle of his body from an attempted escape. (see pictures)
Other than that he has a lovely personality, good feeder, has a lovely pink color through his tail and body as shown in the pictures!
As for tank mates, if he can fit it in his mouth easily he will eat it, however is not overly aggressive to other tank mates unless they steal his food.
Also despite being referred to as a "he" we have no knowledge of whether "he" is a he or a she!
