in my tank i have 6 tiger barbs and 3 new corys.
the barbs kind of float in a group above the corys staring down as if to say 'what the heck are these guys?' its kinda cute, and when the corys try to school with the barbs but it really just looks like theyre chasing them around. hehe.
one of my tiger barbs is small and likes to hang out up at the top of the water where my airstone creates a lot of bubbles. sometimes, he floats over almost tumbling through the water (looks like hes dead actually) til the current pushes him to where the filtered water comes out, with that big push of downward current he gets tossed down through the water and seems to snap out of it and wake up before he gets to the bottom. its really weird, at first i thought there was something wrong with him, but then he just goes right back up to the top, or down to hang out with my other guys...does anyone else have strange barbs like mine?
theyre a very interesting little group, and the corys were a great addition, even if the barbs are a little confused about them, hehe.

that little barb who gets tossed around, is really weird..im afraid hes not doing well or just having an identity crisis. hes sitting on the bottom of the tank, nearby one of my corys, now and then he kinda moves around underneath a little rock cave i have for the corys...it really seems like he thinks hes a catfish too!
