A world of my own
I saw it in my lfs the other day, pretty neat looking.

Can't seem to find much info on the net though, pretty barren. Anyone can enlighten me on this fish?

P.T.

I don't know much, but the common name is Flathead sillago also known as the Antenna fish for obvious reasons. They can be found in fresh, brackish and marine waters, prefering a neutral pH. They can reach 18-20", but will probably stay smaller in captivity.

Well as not much is known its hard to say. But it may be worth a try if you can provide a large enough tank. What size are the fish for sale, do they look healthy?

EDIT: I presume they are being kept in freshwater currently? They may require Brakish water with age, quiz the lfs owner.

They are about 4-6" and appear to be quite active, so i'd say they are pretty healthy. But you mentioned about them being brackish/marine?

Costs a fair bit too.

P.T.

edit: not sure on that, will ask him come this weekend if i can get to the lfs.
