hi all, my tank that im goin to use as my planted tank has a leak. i picked up some silicone from a glazing shop and is this goin to b ok for fixing my tank for plants and fish, the name on it is rhodorsil high performance 3t glazing -waterproofing acetoxy silicone.
Please can anyone help

I would be very leery of any silicone that doesn't say Aquarium safe. Many silicones have other ingredients in them that could be a disaster if used in a tank.
 
Many silicones use arsenic as a curing agent. NOT good for fishys.

Only GE 100% silicone - available in the US, but not here in UK, and the Aquarium Silicone are the ones id ever use.
 
Just out of interest... is that goldfish i see in with angel fish :crazy: man... coldwater and tropicals don't mix very well :good:
