Hello folks,
Boy I have not been here in a while

Well your wisdom is needed.

While trying to catch a fish (right after a feeding...yes I know not smart) from my aquarium to move some to my new tank, I noticed one of my silvertip tetras was swimming around speratiflcally , so I scooped him up and put him in my newly set up aquarium with 2 zebra danios.

Water parameters of both tanks were Ammonia ~0 Nitrite ~0 Nitrate 20-30 (did not test PH but its usually 7)

I assumed he got swim bladder disease since I fed him then scared him, could of caused an air bubble or what not.

I followed advice I found online, didn't feed him for 3 days, then i fed him peas ( I hope he ate some).

It's been over a week and he's still swimming strangely, I'm wondering now if I hurt him while trying to catch other fish.

Here is the video(hope it works this time) http://imgur.com/a/UZxMRqM

P.S. I was told by another forum not to have him with the Zebras, so I am setting him up in a quarantine, side question on that, can i use a HOB filter from my 55g established tank and just toss him in there with the filter and maybe some substrate from the initial aquarium and it should be fine. I only have matrix and some sponges in my HOB.

Thanks for any and all help, hope this was not too badly formatted I did it on my phone!

WTH does that mean?

The silvertip tetra in the video has been injured and will probably never swim properly again. I would euthanise it.

Fish should never be chased, caught or handled straight after feeding. Always catch/ move fish when they have an empty stomach.

All tetras and danios should be kept in groups of at least 10 or more of their own kind.

Yes you can set up a quarantine tank or a new tank by filling it with dechlorinated water and adding some substrate and an established filter from another tank. If you have AquaClear HOB power filters, they can hold 3 sponges and you can use one or two of those sponges and put them in a new AquaClear for an instant cycled filter.

On a side note, Cartman rocks :)
