My silver wag platy may be sick.

I had one before this who died of some random illness, it sort of got a little blind, and beacme and extreamly weak swimmer, the excurssion from the fillter made it fly, when the fry white cloud I have can easily go through the excursion.

anyway the silver wag was found dead upside down and now Ive got a new one. This one is hiding up by the corners of the tank away from the other platys he may he seems to be okay but when I put my hand towards the glass he doesn't run away he just kinda moves a millimeter away. Unlike the otherone he sees the other fish and is eating. But i'm concerened he may have what the other one did.

Okay yeah I read the please read before posting thing.

I don't know the ph of the water, i believe the water ois hard, i'm in chicago it's temp is room temp like low 70's, and I also have 6 other fish in the tank

fryish white cloud
white cloud
gold white cloud
Sunset fire wag platy
Painted platy
Gold bar platy

hope this helps

How long has the fish been in the tank? is it male or female? how big is the tank? are there any hiding places in the tank for it to go? Sorry about all the questions but the answers will help everyone here try to find a solution for you. :)

A day same amount of time as the first one.

It's male

10 gallons

There is the little fake rock formation thing. Ive got plants but there not really hide worthy for him.

all the other fish are fine.

If anyone need any more information other than the nitrite which I don't know how to measure (that would help but I can prolly find it in the begginers section) i'd gladly be of assistance.
