Alright 1st Post!

So a few weeks ago, I noticed the beginnings of ICK on two of my Blue Jay's. Immediately I went out and bought some "Nox-Ick", pulled out the carbon, water change, raised the temperature to 80 and started half-dosing them.

Had them on the meds for about 7 days. I stopped dosing them, 40-50% water change, replaced the carbon, lowered the temperature and all was good for about a day.

Then I notice that my Albino Ruby Shark was stressed. Normally, he's quite territorial, but he stopped chasing the other fish, had clamped fins, rapid mouth movements, and just looked rather lethargic.

Turns out, a day later, he has fin rot (bacterial) and a touch of cotton mouth. So again, I drop the carbon, water change, and (regretably) put him on meds (T.C. Capsules). after the reccommended four days on the med, he's back to his normal self. I do a water change, add the carbon and all is good.

Today, I added a Golden Leopard Cory. The Cory and the Shark are now quite good friends (bottom feeder thing? ). However, upon further inspection of the Shark, he seems to have a bit of a swollen stomach?

What do you think is wrong? He's not showing any signs of distress. All my water changes are using Aqua+ Tap Water Conditioner.

Thanks in advance.

What is the ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and pH?

Are the scales sticking out like a pine cone and does he look bloated? It could be dropsy.

:hi: to the forum too!

The mouth fungus is this,http://www.flippersandfins.net/flexibacter.htm
Can the fish maintain his balance in the water, try a shelled pea and some daphnia first to make sure it isn't constipated.
