Hi there, this evening I noticed a massive growth coming out of my neon tetra. It (she?) is dying. I was hoping someone could tell me what this might be. To me it looks like a bunch of eggs have got stuck, but it's come on all of a sudden - she was fine this morning. I have separated her just in case it's a disease. The images aren't too clear, but it's basically a bunch of white circles, probably eggs, and what looks like prolapsed tissue. Thanks for your help!

That looks really bad... Amost like its insides came out... Maybe somebody else can identify it... Looks really painful

Too late for the OP but part of the fish's intestines and possibly eggs have ruptured through the body. If this happens to a fish, euthanise the fish asap because there is no cure.
