Hi all,

I have 2 silver Mollies 1 is fine swimming and happy with the rest :D but 1 is not looking so good he keep laying at the bottom of the tank and not moving very much  i used a tetra test NO-2 and it say's 0.3mg/l V.light Orange but i did a 25% water change the other day made sure circulation and airation is good if anyone can help that would be brill :D

Also i was reading a article where a female guppy had white stringy poo the person was told it was a internal parasite well i have the same problem is there any med avalible at my lfs i should be asking 4 :dunno:

Many thanks in advance

I'm sad to say there isn't much you can do only a water change, how long has the tank been set up.

If you used the fish to cycle the tank i 'm afraid to say it's took it's toll on the fish, sorry, you are not far off from being cycled if you have a 03 reading in nitrites, if you have no scaless fish add some salt to the tank one tablespoon to 5 gal.

If it is a parasite and you say its on there side it may be a type or parasitic worm and then you can use coppersafe. one of my fish has had it and it worked perfectly. Also did you put in a quarintine tank?

I'm sorry to hear about your fish :/ Even if you do end up losing this one, I would still treat the tank for internal parasites.

Can you give full water parameters for your tank? Was the water change before or after the reading you posted? -_-
