Sick Looking Platy?

Hi,
This morning I found one of my female platy looking awful, her scales seem to be slightly raised. I have a feeling she has just had babies as her tummy is flatter and i saw a little baby swimming around but only one. Could this be why she looks sick?

raised skales.... and getting thinner, i had the feeling that it could be dropsy but then you said she looks thiner. now i don't think its dropsy as shes thinner but how big is the baby (tiny or just very very small, and yes theres a difference) if their tiny then maby the rest are hiding like mine do or maby they got eaten (not nice to think about but it happens).
was she consterpated? because that could explane the lose of weight if she didn't just have babys.
but again raised skales, not trying to scare you but keep a look out for bloating and the skales sticking out, if she gets bloated with skales sticking out then isolate her in a hospital tank and ask in tropical fish emergiencys for any help.

thank you shanghi, yes the scales are sticking out and the baby i saw was very tiny, only saw one but will keep an eye on het.
