My beautiful male guppy has been spending the last three days resting on the bottom and plant leaves. :/ He seems to breathing a little harder than normal, but isn't shimmying. I don't see any signs of infection, etc. The water paramaters are all normal, temp is 78. I haven't seen him eat for a few days, but I'm gone a lot too.

Today I noticed that a few zebra danios were frantically chasing everything, then they go to the bottom and do their little dance in the weeds. Do you think they may have been chasing the guppy too much and wore him out? I didn't actually see them do it, but it's possible.

I don't have much time before I have to leave today and I'll be gone for 2-3 days. Any suggestions for a quick fix?

how many zebra danios do you have if you have another tank to put them in it would be great that is what is wrong those zebra danios are chasing him to death that is what happen to my angel it was staying in one place for about three days and I decided I would slip in the bedroom and watch and see what they were up to and sure enough the bigger angel was giving the little on the whipping of his life so I split them up and both are now fine. do you have a tank divider you might want to try that. That is the only thing I could think of if your water checks out ok. or mabey a betta cup until you get home

if he's not eating thats a bad sign that something is up, is there any abnormal signs apart from the eating thing. No raggy fins or boated bodies etc.
