Sick Gourami

So I get home this afternoon, and start a looksy in the tank...I see my dwarf gourami all by himself by the outlet of the filter. Upon closer inspection I see that he is bloated and has an ulcer type thing by one of his "antenna" . I removed him to the hospital tank but dont know where to go now...gonna add some Melafix...

pH- 6.4 (has been that way for months)
no2-0

This is one of my original fish that has made it through all the mess ups of a newbie....I would hate to lose him now..... any suggestions out there?

Well you can follow my sig and see if any symptoms match up...however if its a ulcer or cancer then well that's not very good.

well "travis" didnt make it ....I got home from work this afternoon and he was dead....Thanx for the help anyway Kossy

Was it an ulcer that burst? sorry to ask but I'd like to know...this is very uncommon

Sorry for the late reply but I really dont know what it was....should have put some pix up but thats kinda morbid!
