Hi guys, as some of you know, I had some sick fish latley. I have been treating with eesha oodinex and it says that it treats whitespot, oodium, fungus and other skin problems.

Water stats have all been fine and were fine even when the fish became ill so I think the disease was possibly brought from the falcula butterfly I recentaly bought. Since then , I have lost this fish and my bangaii cardinal from the disease.

Here are some pics of the 2 worst fish, my pinktailed trigger and one of the yellow tangs. The other fish seem generally well.

gutted for you....know how it feels to have sick fish.

i dont know what to suggest. apart from getting them into a QT

it looks like some type of bacterial infection is the triggers skin a deep red colour and are they still eating

i would mve them into the qt tank soon as posible as if your yellow tang and trigger has got it it must be spreading fast

regards scoott

good that they are eating still. I read your other post, sorry to hear about your trigger.

Is the tang the only fish left in the tank?

jtnova, I have still got 5 yellow tangs, including the ill one, coral beauty angel, sixline wrasse and foxface rabbitfish.

If the 1 tang is the only one that is ill, i'd take him out and put him in a qt tank for a couple weeks so you can give him a stronger dose without affecting your display tank too much. Continue dosing the other meds as you have to make sure the other fish don't get worse.

Bad luck getting a butterfly that brings disease.

Maybe all fish should be quarantined for a period before putting into display tank?
