One week ago my 46 gallon tank finished cycling so I went to the LFS, I new I wanted a Farlowella Acus and asked for suggestions on other good community fish for a brand new tank. They suggested the dwarf rams I let her pick 2.
For a couple of days they where fine then the one started to develope what looks like translucent bubbles over his eye's he does not appear to be eating well, his body coloring is darkening and he is hiding from the other ram. So far he is hanging on. I would have moved him to my 10 gal but it has ich.
I think it may be due to stress from the other ram. I have since read that they can be territorial.
Any help on what could be wrong and how to treat would be appreciated we did a large water change today to see if it helps.

1 ebo-jager 150w heater
bubble wall, and a couple of bubble guys for the kids
Amonia and Nitrite are 0
ph 6.4 ( was very low 3 days ago 6.0 we adjusted with baking soda)
Tank is planted with some Swords and a moneywort,
and a nice big piece of drift wood.
