hi

my discus fish's have a few white spot, it's swimming under the water level.

then today i see a cloudy eyes, what is that? (internal bacteria?) or what?

and the wast is white and solid,,

Never eat..

good colour's..

not strong head shape....

anyone can help me?

i use a METHYLENE blue for three days.. but still have somr ICH?!

and today i use a GENERAL TONIC from TETRA.. when i see a cloudy eyes

What are your water params? Cloudy eye is usualy a sign of stressful bad water quality. I suggest you do quite a few water changes. Discus like that. As for the ich, at what temp is your tank? Discus like a high temp. Getting rid of ich also happens to be easier at such temperatures. Also, what size tank, how many and what kind of fish and is it only one fish showing symptoms or several?

my water values :

nitrite:BELOW 0.3

temp : 29 C

200 L tank

PH 7.5

is that enught?

amonia : i dont think.. coz i was made a 95% water change after 4 dayes ( i change it befor get discus) but discus alwayes have problems when recieve early!!

i have a few neon tetra and red noze(infected with ICH too) razbora...

You have a slight nitrite reading there so do a water change, cloudy eye can be due to a desease rather than a systom in it'self, do some water changes and it should clear up, whitespot looks like they have been srinkled in salt, cloudy eye can also be due to stress.

hi and thanx to help...

i do water change now 20% with RO water.

i have :

*2 neon die ( neon have a white spot) (i notice a very fin rot or shreded!!!)
*3 red nose tetra very stress and speed breathing (also have a white spot)
*razbora (nothing)
*discus cloudy eyes, speed breathing, good colouration, swimming under water level, white waste.

important notice :

after a week, i was try to make a DIY CO2 from YEAST AND SUGER,, but the worst is the yeast fill up the bottle and enter the aquarium....

a carry a 95% water change....

and the cloudy water was gone..

so does the YEAST make a bad bacteria???

oor what????

pleaze help me....

MAYDAY........... MAYDAY........... MAYDAY............ :oh: :oh: :oh:

ohhh nooo....

just READING!!!!!

pleaze give me some of your experiences....

is your tank cycled?

doing water changes with RO water can't be too good
what kind of water do you usually put in there?

my tank old is 40 days...

and usually use tap water PH 7.5

Is the whole eye cloudy, or just the pupil? If the pupil has completely clouded over then it sounds like cataracts

Im not sure about the rest thou, some pictures of your fish might help us to help you

Take out he infected fish and place them in a seperate tank, incase the disease can be caught by the other fish!, treat the infected fish, i would use Methylene Blue again!
Maybe there is some harmful chemical in the water, like some kind of disinfectant!

hi..

i don't have a hospital tank.. (plan to get one)

but all my fishe's infected.. one of my red nose tetra a die today..

my temp : 28-29..

chang a 20% water yesterday as i post...

You say your nitrite is 0.3ppm whats your ammonia?

Ich/whitespot is usuall bought on by chang in water peramiters, usuall temp, when doing water changes you must match the temp and PH as close as possible, evan more so with large water changes.

You live in jordan, i'm not sure what your water's like, but the water peramiters of tap water can varie from day to day, discus are fussy about water inparticular a stable PH, which is not always constant with tap water (unless your lucky), if your not already doing so, you need to alter the PH of you water to match that of your aquarium.

Desolved solids are also a problem in tap water, the constant changes, of desolved organics, minerals and metals etc may not have an emediate afect, but will weakens the discus amuine sysytem, which usuall leads to serious illness or death.

Whan treat with medications, it can affect the oxagen carying capacity of your water, make sure you airate while treating.

You could also have internal parasite problem, in worse case can be see patruding the surface skin, the fish wont eat which carses problems in treating, i use a pig wormer callad fenbendazole, which can be mixed in food, added to the tank or used as a dip.

(i apologise if i'm tell you something you already know)

I hope this helps
Simon
