So I've got 4 Diamond Tetra, I started with 3, then they had 3 babies, then one died, and one of the babies died.
The first that died didn't show any noticeable signs of illness before her death, I just found her dead when I awoke one morning.
The baby died during a snowstorm/power outage, the tank got too cold, I tried to insulate it and eventually was able to dig a car out of the snow to get a DC inverter to hook up my heater and air pumps to a car battery, but it was too late.
My fish have clearly not recovered fully since the power outage, they are showing obvious signs of stress: color is dull, they are lethargic, etc. One of them is particularly worrying me as it has taken to hiding in the corner of the tank behind the tube for my undergravel filter system. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can possibly help them in their recovery from a clearly traumatic experience?
