Sick clown loach?

I have a Clown Loach, its not in the best tank, its only 20G 2 foot. But my sister didn't know when she bought them because she thought they would be a good present for me since they looked good. But I added it a few days ago and it looked very healthy. Now it hides in the rocks I have in the tank and hardly comes out, is this because its sick?

This is normal behavour for clown loach mine hid all the time now they scare me by sleeping on their sides so it looks like they are dead, don't worry you'll soon get used to the craziness of clown loach

Well it is normal for clown loaches (Or loaches in general) to hide at times, usually if they are alone. Part of the problem is he is alone, they should be in groups of 4 to be basically happy. Hard to tell what he looks like by the pictures but he looks a little stressed out to me.
