SICK CLOWN LOACH

I HAVE A CLOWN LOACH THAT IS NOT DOING VERY GOOD, HE HAS A SMALL HOLE IN HIS HEAD BY HIS EYE AND THE EYE IS BULGING OUT AND HE ALWAYS FLOATS AT THE TOP OF THE TANK NOW.
HE ACTS LIKE HE IS GASPING FOR AIR AND HIS BODY IS NOW CURVED IN ONE DIRECTION.
HE IS VERY LIFELESS AND DOES NOT EAT.

LOCAL PET STORE IS NO HELP.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ?

How big and how old? How long have you had it? What about the rest of the info ... what size tank, other inhabitants, have you tested your water?

I must say, this sounds like a euthenasia case by your description.

But more info is needed...

Not a good outlook I am affraid!!

Once a fish get's the "bends" it usually is near the end. The hole near it's eye could be a fungal problem and if it is has probably traveled to the fishes brain and is irreversible.

I would suggestputting the fish down.
