sick clown barb

I noticed this evening that my clown barb has a growth on his face.
Does anyone have any ideas what it is, and if so, what meds to use.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

By adding the picture you have greatly increased your chances of getting some great help. I'd suggest that you also post tank size, tank mates, how long you have had it running, how long since last fish introduced. and your water parameters. Best of luck -

Tank size is 6ft x 18ins x 18ins, and in there I also keep, 2xAngels, another 5 Clown Barbs, 1xCatfish, 5xClown Loaches, 3xBala Sharks, 3xmollies, 4xswordtails and my last added fish was a betta, four weeks ago. This particular tank has been running for nearly five months, since being transferred from a 4ft tank. All water parameters are well within their correct ranges. This tank also has 10 gallon (RO) water changes on a weekly basis. Filteration for this tank is provided by 2xEheim external, and 1xFluval internal.

Just like to say thanks for all your help.......

I guess i will be off to my lfs for advice...they may give it wrong ...but at least they give some sort of advice.
