Sick betta

I'm worried about my betta .....he is not his normal lively self......checked the water and all is fine

amonia 0
nitrate 20
ph 7

no visible markings and all my other fish are fine he is still coming out when it is feeding time otherwise he just stays in the tunnel....and he is not being bullied.

Any ideas ???

always has been between 26-27 so the temp ain't changed

he is normaly a lively chap

so i am a bit worried he was one of my first fishys

well without many signs other then him not being active there is nothing to do really other then to wait and c how he is in a day or 2

how long has he been in the community? Bettas are generally loners, he may prefer to be alone. I kept my oldest male in a community ,it was new and exciting for him for a few months but it quickly wore him out and he started to detest it. He's since moved in to a private 10 gallon and he's soooo much happier

how long have you had your betta for? have you double checked his fins for rot look at his little belly for swelling I have had many bettas and when they start staying in one place all the time they are something wrong I always put mine in some betta max I dont know if you can get that stuff or not but it sure is good it seems to work wonders for mine. I hope he gets ok for you.

He has been in the tank for about 3 mons....had another look at him today still nothing visible ......i might look at getting him a new tank

hey caz27 go to this site and see if you can find something that will help you out with your betta http/www.bettatalk.com/betta_diseases.htm you might be able to find out what you can do on this web page I hope you can fix it with him.
