Sick Balloon Molly

I have had a few balloon mollies in the past that seem to live for about 5 months and then they become very indented in one side and swim sidways. They live with this lopsided belly for about a week before they die. Please help me, I dont know why this keeps happening! What is this condition? How do you cure/prevent it

I have no idea, I have a balloon mollie for maybe a couple months now and she is ok. Hope she doesnt get the same thing. Maybe it has something to do with the swimbladder so something. Hmm I will try and do some reasearch but i am stumped now.

Thank you for everyone's replies. My balloon molly seems to be swimming normally again and her belly is no longer indented. I got lucky this time. Thanks again.
