I am wondering if people have pups or dogs that are siblings from the same litter? If so, or if anyone knows about them, is it a good idea? Or is it better to have two different dogs as pups and have them grow up together?
The reason I ask, my parents went to the home of the people who bred Lola, and they picked out two females (i have heard that two females is not a good idea). They won't be coming to my house for another few weeks, but I have been hearing conflicting things from people as to whether:
a. It is good/bad to have sibling pups grow up together in the same house
b. It is good/bad to have two females.
Both will be fixed. To be honest, I don't want a dog yet, and I most certainly don't want one from that family. But my parents are stuck on it.
We were going to get a dog that was 4 months old and living in a foster home, but the people that went to look at her before us decided to take her. Anyway, if anyone could let me know about the siblings and whatnot, it would be appreciated, thanks
