Siamese Algae Eater

i herd Siamese Algae Eaters were ment to be fish that go rownd the tank a fair bit i got one from the pet store and he just seems to stay in one place of the tank alot ??like its being lazy it seems like its not sick.....it dose not hide ether any idear whats up with it.......oh and any idears on what it would like to eat as a treat or some thing

I have yet to find a fish food that SAEs wont eat.

They are normally active, however due to their poorly developed swim bladded they will sink if they are not swimming. As a result they can often be seen resting in plants, on rocks or on the bottom of a tank.

As a result they can often be seen resting in plants, on rocks or on the bottom of a tank seem like that maby the case dose that mean there nuthing wrong at all and he is being lazy cuz i would not call him.active he may travel the tank one time a day other then that he seem to stay near one spot movie only alittle to feed when he need to eati thort maby i should be feeding some thing more intresting to get him moveing around a bit

dont feed him at all if you want him to clean algae off stuff after a few days he will hunt for algae like crazy

could it be how old he is?hes probly not as big as he will get but hes alot bigger then the little one that i had a long time ago (the little ones died cuz of some medical stuff i gave was to strong) but this one is a lot bigger then them
