It's all fine and well to ask questions - but to never ever do any research is just plain lazy. And then to say there is no info on the web ? well that's just not true. We have a wealth of people eager to share their experience but just take a few moments to read bettas (aka Liverpool)'s posts, and you'll notice a trend. We're only trying to encourage him to actually look in the right places for some very general and basic information
As it is, his situation is such that he doesn't have any tank space for any more occupants....
But Bettas should just go to his LFS and see what they stock. All areas differ.

And, if you'll excuse me saying so, you're more likely to recieve many opinions and conjecture on a forum, than facts. After all, a forum is a place of discourse. Not saying it doesn't happen, or even that it rarely happens. iI see it happen pretty often, people who enjoy aquariums enjoy knowing about aquariums, I think. You just gotta bare in mind That a forum is a place to meet and discuss.

One of the stickies on this forum even said, "don't believe everything you read." (parapharsed)
