Shrimps

I have a 55 Gal that I plan to fill with small tetras and i want i shrimp.Which one would go with my tank without harming the tetras(neons)

Fan shrimp atya gabonensis (Camaroon Armoured shrimp) or atyopsis moluccensis (wood shrimp, mountain shrimp) are completely harmless facinating filter feeders which will not harm your fish at all.

they are great pets ,you will proberly see them as fan shrimp, giant african filter shrimp or cameroon armoured shrimp. they range in colour from white blue pink and black, they can change colour depending on age health and hapiness. they can get to 15cm so 30 gallons minimim more is better.

make sure your tank is completely covered as they can swim and climb, i recently made this mistake an lost my 10cm one i have replaced him with a 4cm one they are a lot of fun to watch just make sure you have lots of caves
