shrimp

right now i have two peppermint shrimps and a HUGE banded coral shrimp. any ideas what type of shrimps I can add to the tank and how many? or do i need to catch my banded coral shrimp so he doesnt eat everyone? i am looking for shrimps that I will notice more often like the banded coral shrimp.
maybe a sexy anemone shrimp
blood red shrimp
or a cleaner shrimp

I vote bring the coral banded back to the LFS and get either cleaners or blood shrimp. My cleaner has great personality...I hand feed him and his yellow and red color brighten up the tank. Again...it also depends on what you need them for. Cleaners with eat parasites off your fish. Peppermints will can eat aiptasias. Blood shrimp will also set up cleaning stations, but, they can be pricey...at least in my area.

The coral banded gets a lot of thumbs down in many nano-forums. Just a thought. SH

not really needing the shrimps for any real reason except to have shrimps in the tank. Ya i like my banded coral shrimp he does come out... yet he tries to eat the fish as they swim by. can cleaner and red blood shrimp get along? can you have more than one kind of these shrimps. never really learned much about the shrimps.
