 I read in another thread that shrimp help with algae. I have very little algae. But was wondering, if you look at my stock, would I be able to add shrimp to my tank or not?

Found this in the Fish Index Oddballs section. Moved.

moved to the wrong forum but still.
the rule with keeping shrimp and fish together is
will the shrimp fit in the mouth of my fish?
if the answer is yes then they will be food for your fish.

looking at your stock, none of the algae eating shrimp will be suitable for you stocking
however you could easily add a bamboo shrimp or a cameroon armoured shrimp,
both are filter feeders (help clear food particles from the water) and both will reach around 6 inches.
expect to pay about £5 for the bamboo shrimp and around a tenner for the armoured shrimp
