i know that shrimps are highly sensitive to chemicals. since plant fertilzers contains many chemicals, wut should i do if i need to user plant fertilzers in my tank? i actually didn't know this and have been puttin plant fertilizers in my tank for the last 3 years or so and my shrimps have been fine. till yesterday, when i found one of my amano shrimps dying. :-( i've had these 3 amanos shrimps for over 3 years! im so sad one of them died, even though im not sure if it was the plant fertilizer that killed it since i've been puttin it in for such a long time.

the only chemical that you have to be carfull with is copper with inverts. (apart from the obvious ones) copper actually stops the haemoglobin in there blood from absorbing oxygen which in turn suffacates them to death. Plant fertalizer should be fine and I would say that your shrimp has died of old age.
