Hi all --

New (cycled) tank, so far I have a dwarf gourami and six pygmy corys.

I bought a can of shrimp pellets for the corys (said they were good for bottom-feeders)... but the pellets are as big as the fish! Set a couple in the tank and they do seem to disintegrate eventually, but my substrate is large gravel, so they get lost in the crevices.

Should I be feeding something else to the corys? I do plan to add ghost shrimp, are the shrimp pellets good for them?

Also got some frozen bloodworms, the gourami seems to love them, corys seem indifferent. Gourami doesn't seem to have figured out flake food yet.

Thanks
Aaron

Corys do best on a sand substrate so they can dig & find the particles of food.
Mine love bloodworms, frozen & dried

My Julli's used to love Shrimp pellets and my Pygmy's now try their best to devour them.
