Shrimp Or Plec

i have a 30 ltr (starter) tank and i need a algae eater because plecs get big, what would you recommend a plec or a shrimp??

Not all Plec's are big. You just want to avoid anything like the common plec which is massive. Some people say the best Algae eaters are Otto's. They stay tiny and kept in a little group of 3-4, will keep your tank looking clean. Or you could try a Bristle nose plec, they get to about 4-5 inches and do a great job for me. Also not all shrimps will eat algae and will not keep the front glass clean like a plec would.

opps sorry misread your tank size, i'd go for the otto's and not a BN plec like i just stated. it probably is to big for a tank that size.

3 otos and 3 amano shrimp would work fairly well.
