couple of questions. how often are shrimp suppose to molt? I've had these two peppermint shrimp for a little more than a week now, and the same one (which happens to be carrying eggs) has molted twice, but the other much smaller one has not at all. Is this normal because she is carrying eggs? Also what are you suppose to do with the molts, the last one i left in there,or should you take them out?

Thanks :good:

my cleanrer shrimp molts very regulary (almost monthly) and when she does she always has eggs. They dont get fertilized though because there is no male so she ends up eating them. also i would leave the molt in for about 3 days by then all the creepys wshould of eaten it.

Yeah, they can molt anywhere from monthly to yearly depending on how fast they're growing. molting is the sign of a healthy shrimp :good:. Egg carrying doesn't really play a part in it. Definitely leave the skins in.

Yea it just depends on how fast your shrimp grows.
