well this is the only place i think it is relevant to post this...
well recently starting around a month ago i noticed that my ghost shrimp population started to dwindle. slowly but surely... until i would have to look closely to spot the smaller shrimps.. ( the only shrimps that where left was the older ghost shrimps and the bigger mountain shrimps) one day while i was looking at my aquarium (from its side) i noticed a weird insect swimming inside the tank.. around half an inch long (it looked like a upside down beetle or something) so i then proceeded to capture the insect and removed it from the tank...
After 3 weeks[now] i have noticed that my shrimp population exploded again ! i can now see baby shrimps everywhere again !
The question is about the insect actually.. id like to know more about it... do you guys have links to common hitch hiking creatures in the aquarium ? especially for planted ones ?
it was around half an inch long, legs, and it looked a bit upside down..... it looked like a flat cockroach that swam around
