Hi guys just woundering what type of filters besides spounge filters are safe for shrimp hopefully internal filters so i can use mature media insted an set up straight away tgey will live in a fish r fun betta box its about 15cm high and about 15 across any ideas?

I use one of these in my shrimp tank, excellent little filters but may need a bit of sponge over the outlet as they are really powerful for such a small filter

Whenever you use a power filter just remember to cover the openings with something. I used one of the mrs' stockings rolled up and tied over the internals filter intake with a rubber band (worked a treat).

That's what I did. Braces rubber bands work nicely as well.

i have a filter that fits the tank perfectly but i has over heated in the 3 times altho i didnt clean it before i found out it stopped working and the water gets so warm proberly about 84'f at tops do you guys think that ll be ok if i keep up the changes?
its also the temp will the temp be ok?

My mate suffered losses at 80° f so I think 84 may be pushing it
