Shrimp Feeding

Just wondering, on the packet it says add one and take out what hasnt been eat in 2 hours ... I only have about 15 shrimp though, are the wafers abit big? Should I break them abit or just chuck a whole one in and throw whats left after 2 hours away like the packet tells me.

break it into a smaller piece and feed the shrimp. see how much they eat in two hours (or even overnight) remove any leftovers. there is no need to feed a whole wafer if all they are going to eat is,say, a quarter of it. better to underfeed than overfeed as it causes water quality issues.

I feed once every 2 days and on every 4 days they get the treat of some fresh veg with their meal
