How easy is it?

Does it require any special equipment?

What type of freshwater shrimp are easy to breed/ look after?

Can you sell young to pet shops?

Where to buy from in England ?

Some are quite easy (bee shrimps and cherries both are) and doesn't need any special equipment. Just a tank with plenty of live plants, a sponge filter (or a normal internal with the intake covered in sponge or mesh of some sort, so the shrimplets can't get sucked in!) and no fish that would eat the shrimps when they're young.

They're readily available in fish shops and online, or even in the livestock for sale section here. Some shops will take baby shrimps, but it's worth checking up with them first.

Again flutter mouth thank you soooooo much how would you go about the breeding process??

Thanks!!!!

With cherry and bee shrimp it's very simple. Keep the water clean, feed them well and they will breed on their own :)

P.S; it's 'moth', btw, not 'mouth' ;)

Sorry flutter moth thanks for the great advice you give

You're very welcome, glad to be of help :)

Yeah cherry shrimp are the best. They breed quick and easy they are not picky. Bee shrimp can be a bit more sensitive I would not start off with bee shrimp. Tiger shrimp are pretty good. They are my fav shrimp I have a small breeding group. I love them.
