Shrimp And Loaches?

was just wondering how loaches are with shrimp, i have quite a few snails in my planted tank which also contains my amano shrimp so don't want to use chemicals, would a small loach cause any trouble to the shrimp?

Dwarf chain loaches will not bother amano shrimp they are even fine with adult cherry shrimp. They are not the best snail eaters they do eat some, they do need to be in a small group of five at least to be happy though. The killer snail (clea helena) is very effective at snail control, I have to put mts from other tanks in their tank as they ate all the mts, they breed but not fast.

I can recommend the snail eating snails too, mine have almost cleared up my MTS and are moving onto my other snails now.

I got mine from Ullesthorpe about a month ago, they might have some still.

thanks guys, saw some very small yo-yo's they were less than an inch so smaller than my shrimp, might move the shrimp over though just to be safe
