Shrimp And Bettas

recently set up a 29 litre tank for my betta as he was geting niped in community tank. would like to add some shrimp to the tank but dont know enough about them yet. any one know if its a good idea and if it is what sort of shrimp. any links would also be appreciated. thanks.

Amano shrimp should be fine, I have not kept dwarf shrimp with a betta but I expect the betta would be able to kill them.
