My Salvinia is looking pretty sad, and is dying and falling apart. Would it be privy of my to remove it?

It wouldn't be 'privy' of you no. Theres nothing privy about it anymore since you've posted it on here.

Looks nitrogen deficient to me. How many fish are in there?
By “privy” I meant, “would it be good for me to” remove it.

[8] Neon tetras, [5] Panda Corydoras, [1] Albino BNP, snails and shrimp.

Yeh, but 'privy' doesn't mean that.

The salvinia doesnt look that bad? Do you know the kelvin rating of your light?

Just looking at that stocking, why not add your lone zebra danio to this tank until you can take her to a store? It's not the same as a school of other danios, but it's at least other fish, and can't see anything that might cause a problem. Unless it's the shrimp? I don't know what danios are like with shrimp.

As for the floaters, don't look bad to me? If it helps, my water lettuce goes through boom and bust phases. It was booming a couple of weeks ago, and it's bust right now, with a lot of yellowing and rotting leaves I have to pick off. But it's done this so many times now, I'm just expecting it to pick up again soon enough.

She nips at the fish of my neons and makes them cower in the corner, believe me,I’ve tried it.

Ok, then what is the definition of “privy”? :dunno:

No, I don’t know the kelvin rating. I do know however, that it is LED, is bright, and can grow plants. I don’t know how to check...

Why not scoop out some of the yellow or brown Salvinia and leave the green. It's really fast growing so will recoup quickly.
Tried that - they don’t grow back like they used to and their roots are super short. (Probably due to pond snails)

Might be time to start using liquid fertiliser?
Can’t, even if I wanted to. Parents said (and I quote) “no more fish stuff before the move. That includes fish, snails, plants, lights, equipment, additives, etc.”

They don’t want me getting anything. Besides, I have snails and @mbsqw1d said fertilizers were bad for snails and shrimp,

I never said that
