Are getting these fisha good idea   ? Any advice id apreciate and/or please suggest any other fish that would do good with the ones i already have( im planning on putting them all in th new tank)

Call me crazy, but I'd say your 10 gallon tank is WAYYYYY overcrowded. :(

That being said... I'm surprised that your Platys are doing okay since they require alkaline water, while all of your other fish require acidic to neutral water. Of course, I'm in shock that all of those fish are alive to begin with.

As for your 29 Gallon question. . .
I've learned from others that Tiger Barbs will be the aggressors in your tank. The Tiger Barbs should be kept in groups of 6-8 and will probably battle the Gourami / Angels.

Others can probably give you more definitive insight.

I would say that what you already have should fill the 29 gallon quite nicely. In fact, (at least in my opinion) your 10 gallon is WAY overcrowded. Because of this, I would recommend that you restrain yourself to enlarging the schools of fish you already have.
i.e. more black skirts, gouramis etc. Over all though, I would say you already have more than enough for a 29. (by the way are the plecos really doing ok with the gouramis? Seems like they might beat them up and take their lunch money  )

How many posts about this same topic do you need? I already replied to your previous one, here. How about you check the previous posts for replies before you post the same thing again? Or perhaps bump the old topic by replying to it yourself, instead of making a new topic?

Here's my whole post reposted, for your convenience.

"Would you move all your fish into the 29 gal or keep some in the 10 gal?

Don't get the opaline gourami if you plan to keep it with the other gouramis. They're quite mean and will harass the other gouramis, especially in a tank that's only 29 gal.

Tiger barbs are nippy fish that will probably bother your gouramis, possibly your black skirt tetras as well. The cherry barbs are less nippy and so a better choice. Make sure you get more females than males.

The silver dollars grow much too big for a 29 gal and would like a larger group than three, so I don't recommend getting those.

The otto would also like company, so consider getting some more of them. 3 or 4 will do, but they'd be happier with 6.

Getting more black and gold skirt tetras is a good idea.

Note that your plecostomus catfish will grow too big for a 29 gal. They usually reach about 12 inches in an aquarium, more in the wild. They also become territorial when older, so they might get aggressive towards each other with age."

EDIT: An additional comment about the angels: they grow too big for a 29 gal. A suitable tank for them should be at least 18 inches tall, and most 29 gal tanks are not that tall.

All in all, my suggestion is you count together the adult sizes of the fish you want and start choosing which you REALLY want. You'd be surprised of how quickly a 29 gal gets full. For example, this is already 29 inches:

2 dwarf gouramis
1 paradise fish
4 black skirt tetras
3 gold skirt tetras
2 platies
1 female betta
1 otto cat

The trouble is that since your 10 gal is so overcrowded, this means that a 29 gal is actually the right size for that amount. This is why you can't get many more fish.

EDIT again: It seems AttackKoala has already made most of the points I added. Sorry about that, will be more observant in the future. ;)
